We are a locally owned small business in the heart of Bristol, TN. We have a strong desire to help others and want your time spent with us to be a pleasant experience. We believe in the body’s innate ability to heal itself and will always try to utilize our expertise to assist in this process. We strive to design our services for profound relaxation of the body, mind, and soul.

Upon your arrival, you will be offered a spa robe and sandals, and we suggest that you take time before and/or after your service to sit, decompress, have a complementary beverage, and escape reality for a while.

Our History

While taking a break from her fifteen-year teaching career, our founder became a massage therapist and fell in love with the healing arts. After working 12 years as a massage therapist, she wanted to expand her knowledge in the related field and also expand the business to better serve her clients and community.

From that desire, ”The Nest” was dreamed and created. A lot of time, love, and attention have been poured into developing a place of retreat for you to revive, rejuvenate, and continue to create an overall sense of beauty and wellness. We happily look forward to serving your needs.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is used to help manage health conditions or enhance wellness. It involves manipulating the soft tissues of the body – muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and skin using varying degrees of pressure and movement. Choose from the variety of massage services we offer & book your experience today!

Body Treatments

Enjoy the entire experience of total relaxation with our nourishing body treatments. From a relaxing mineral bath soak to a soothing ionic foot detox, choose from an array of options from our body treatments. You can expect a spa treatment including your own robe, ample spa towels, natural aromatherapy, and soothing, soft music to set the mood for your detoxifying escape!

Facials

Our facial services are focused on creating the most relaxing, yet detoxifying experience. Most facials include steam, exfoliation, extraction, creams, lotions, facial masks, peels, and massage. Through this multi-step process, the skin is rejuvenated and nourished, making the skin appear healthier and younger.

Salt Therapy

Halotherapy is a dry salt therapy that uses a halogenerator to grind pharmaceutical pure grade sodium chloride into micronized particles that are dispersed into an area creating a relaxing and healthy microclimate. The Dry salt aerosol safely works in aiding respiratory, psychological, and physical issues.

Red Light Therapy

This treatment uses low wavelength red light to help improve your skin’s appearance, such as reducing wrinkles, scars, redness, and acne. RLT can also improve skin conditions like psoriasis & eczema. It can also help your skins health by stimulating collagen production, which gives skin its structure, strength, and elasticity. Relax & enjoy a 20-minute session.

Cupping

Cupping is like a reverse massage – instead of pushing into the tissue, it pulls. Treatment involves placing cups onto the skin to create a suction which helps to increase blood and Qi flow, loosen fascia, stimulate healing and remove toxins.The detoxifying effect on skin and circulatory system is also significant, with a visible improvement in skin color. Cupping removes toxins and improves blood flow through the veins and arteries. Especially useful for athletes is cupping’s potential to relieve muscle spasms.

Ultrasonic Cavitation

By releasing sonic energy, an ultrasonic cavitation handpiece allows for the disruption of cellular membranes in adipocytes, or fat cells. The high pressure of the ultrasound waves upon the adipocytes causes a collapse in the cells, and the fatty contents of the cells subsequently leak out into the spaces between cells.
